Linux users accessing Office 365 webmail are also affected by the latest Firefox v30 release. The use of an alternative browser is recommended for accessing email online because the new browser release does not allow users on Mac or Linux users to access Office 365 online.

Both Mac and Linux users that upgraded to Firefox v30 are being redirected to the following message: “The latest version of Firefox for Mac and Linux is incompatible with Office 365. Please access mymail.unl.edu with Safari or an alternate browser.” A reboot of the computer may be required to view the message.

Only Windows users can access UNL Office 365 accounts online using Firefox v30.
