Faculty Senate seeks nominees for career award

The UNL Faculty Senate is seeking nominations for the Louise Pound-George Howard Distinguished Career Award.

Established in 1990, the award is conferred upon an individual who has made an exceptional contribution to the university through teaching, research, public service, administration or a combination of factors. The contributions should reflect a long-standing commitment to UNL.

The award will be presented to the selected individual at the Honors Convocations Ceremony and at the Faculty Senate meeting on April 28.

Nominations need to be submitted electronically to the Faculty Senate Office in care of Karen Griffin, coordinator of the Faculty Senate, at kgriffin2@unl.edu.

The nomination form, along with the guidelines, can be found on the Faculty Senate webpage.
