UNL has joined Eduroam, a partnership that allows faculty, staff and students to access WiFi services at participating campuses worldwide.

UNL has joined Eduroam, a secure, worldwide roaming service developed for the international research and education community.

The service allows students, faculty and staff to use MyUNL credentials to access WiFi service at participating institutions worldwide. Individuals from participating institutions can use their credentials to access WiFi at UNL. The service also allows study abroad students to access Eduroam hotspots without incurring data roaming charges.

To access the Eduroam service at a participating campus, UNL faculty, staff and students should select the “Eduroam” network in the WiFi options and login using MyUNL username and password combinations. The service does not require users to create a guest account.

Eduroam is available in more than 100 institutions in the United States and in more than 54 countries. The service is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and Internet2 Net+ services.
