The Employee Assistance Program is presenting a seven-week parenting class based on the “Love and Logic” program. An informational meeting is noon to 12:30 p.m. Sept. 25 in the 501 Building, room 128.

Individuals who attend the information session will have the chance to register for the course and receive an overview of the class schedule.

The “Becoming a Love and Logic Parent” program offers ways to raise a responsible child who learns from the consequences of mistakes. Participants will learn how to prepare children for the real world and avoid power struggles by letting empathy and consequences do the teaching.

The class will meet from noon to 1 p.m. in the 501 Building over the course of seven weeks. Area A lot parking is available adjacent to the 501 Building. EAP also offers parking validation for individuals without Area A parking tags and who park in the Stadium Garage on the corner of Stadium Drive and T Street.
