The Employee Assistance Program is offering a seven-week parenting class based on the program “Becoming a Love and Logic Parent.”

An informational meeting is noon to 12:30 p.m. March 4 at the Employee Assistance Program office, room 128, in the 501 Building. Participants will receive an overview of the class schedule and have the opportunity to sign up for the program.

“Becoming a Love and Logic Parent” is a program that offers ways to raise a responsible child that learns from the consequences of their own mistakes. Participants will learn about preparing children for the real world and avoiding power struggles by letting empathy and consequences do the teaching.

The group will meet on Tuesdays from noon to 1 p.m. in the 501 Building. Area A parking is available around the 501 Building. Individuals without an Area A parking permit can park in the Stadium Garage on the corner of Stadium Drive and T Street. EAP will validate parking for participants who park in the garage.
