Deadline to submit Prosper Lincoln ideas is July 10

The deadline to submit ideas to Prosper Lincoln, a campaign designed to strengthen the Lincoln community, is noon, July 10.

Prosper Lincoln was created by community leaders, including Chancellor Harvey Perlman. The campaign seeks to create a set of community priorities to make Lincoln prosper even more. To identify those priorities, Prosper Lincoln is seeking ideas from across the community, including those from UNL faculty, staff and students. Three themes have been selected to guide submissions — nurture youth success, from cradle to career; grow economic prosperity; and enhance quality of life.

UNL helped launch the Prosper Lincoln campaign with a series of brown bag presentations in June.

“The university has a huge role to play and we want to be part of this community-wide effort,” said Meg Lauerman, director of university communications and a member of the Prosper Lincoln communications team.
