The UNL Clay Club and Fine Art Photo Club are holding spring sales May 2-3 in Richards Hall.
The UNL Clay Club’s Spring Sale and Raffle is in Richards Hall, room 118. Hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 2 and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 3.
The sales will include works of art created by graduate students, undergraduate students, alumni and faculty representing a broad range of aesthetics, techniques and concepts.
In addition to the sale, there will be raffle of work donated by students, faculty and alumni. Tickets for the raffles can be purchased at the sale. The drawing is 5 p.m. May 3. Winners need not be present.
Proceeds from the sale will fund the Clay Club visiting artist program, and facilitate student attendance at annual professional conferences.
The hours for the UNL Fine Art Photo Club’s sale are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day in Richards Hall, room 121.
The work from undergraduate and graduate students will showcase a variety of processes, subjects and styles and will include handmade and digitally produced photo books.
Raffle items will include prints by graduate students Amanda Breitbach, Chadric Devin and Allen Morris, as well as books donated by Dana Fritz, professor of art. Raffle tickets are $1 each or six for $5. The drawing is 6 p.m. May 3. Need not be present to win.
Proceeds from the sale benefit the Fine Art Photo Club activities, which include visiting artists, conference travel and other club activities.
