To promote safe bicycle riding on campus and in Lincoln, Campus Recreation will offer free bicycle maintenance classes to University of Nebraska-Lincoln students and guests. A new topic will be presented each Tuesday night from Feb. 23 through March 8.

Classes will focus on basic maintenance items to avoid being stranded on the street or trail. Topics include patching a flat, basic brake and derailleur adjustments, riding position/bike fit and layering for winter commuting. Each class will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays at the Bike Shop inside the Outdoor Adventures Center.

Classes are free for UNL students and their guests. General public fee is $30. Those interested in attending are encouraged to register by calling 402-472-4777 or by visiting the Outdoor Adventures Center.
