Amber Brannigan has been named interim director of procurement and strategic sourcing.

Brannigan, who previously served in inventory operations and key shop at UNL, began the new post Oct. 16. She brings several years of procurement contracting and supply chain management experience.

As interim director, Brannigan will be responsible for daily purchasing operations, developing and monitoring effective procurement strategies across the campus, and communicating with suppliers and contractors how business is conducted at the university.

Tim Klein will serve as interim manager of inventory operations and the key shop.
