‘Better Securing Remote Access’ forums begin June 17

Learn how to best access UNL resources in a series of open forums, June through August. Securing remote access helps thwart attacks from unauthorized entities. While UNL requires VPN use for Remote Desktop Protocol, there are other remote protocols for securing access to UNL servers and systems.

The “ITS Security Community Forum: Better Securing Remote Access to UNL Resources” discussions will explore options in securing SSH, SFTP, VNC and other remote access protocols. Participants are encouraged to ask questions and help identify potential roadblocks to securing remote access.
