Behlen Observatory open house is March 11

The public viewing night at UNL's Behlen Observatory on March 11 will include the Great Orion Nebula.

The University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s Department of Physics and Astronomy and the UNL Society of Physics Students hosts a viewing of celestial objects from 7 to 10 p.m. March 11 at the Behlen Observatory.

The open house will allow guests to see a number of celestial objects including the Great Orion Nebula, the Andromeda Galaxy, a thin crescent moon and Jupiter.

UNL instructors and members of SPS will be on hand between viewings with science demonstrations and lectures.
