Art alumni featured in Eisentrager-Howard Gallery exhibition

Opening Jan. 20 at the Eisentrager-Howard Gallery is “Continuum: Drawing, Painting, Sculpture Alumni Invitational.”

Twenty-five drawing, painting and sculpture alumni from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Department of Art and Art History will be presenting their work in the exhibition, which runs Jan. 20 through Feb. 5.

A First Friday closing reception will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Feb. 5 in the gallery.

Also, a panel discussion with the artists will be held at 4 p.m. on Feb. 5 in Richards Hall, Room 14.

The following artists will be participating in the exhibition: Erik Anderson (MFA 2007), Byron Anway (MFA 2011), Wendy Jane Bantam (MFA 2007), Angela Behrends (MFA 2002), Matt Blache (MFA 2013), Jamie Burmeister (MFA 2005), Michael Burton (MFA 2007), John Carrasco (MFA 2009), Jacob Francois (MFA 2013), Jamie Fritz (MFA 2012), Amanda Hext (MFA 2005), Victoria Hoyt (MFA 2012), Josh Johnson (MFA 2010), Kelly Manning (MFA 2009), Erika Navarette (MFA 2008), Emily Newman (MFA 2010), Liana Owad (MFA 2014), Dan Perry (MFA 2006), Amanda Smith (MFA 2008), Kelly Stading (MFA 2015), Chip Stanley (MFA 2005), Audrey Stommes (MFA 2013), Jason Tanner Young (MFA 2011), Dustin Young (MFA 2014) and Ying Zhu (MFA 2010).

Gallery hours are Monday-Friday, 12:30-4:30 p.m. The Eisentrager-Howard Gallery is located on the first floor of Richards Hall, which is located at Stadium Drive and T streets on city campus. Admission is free and open to the public.
