Apply by Oct. 1 for Research Development Fellows Program

The Office of Research and Economic Development is sponsoring an internal competition to identify the next UNL team that will develop an institutional proposal for NIH's Centers of Biomedical Research Excellence program.

The Office of Research and Economic Development is seeking applicants for the 2015-2016 Research Development Fellows Program, a year-long program designed to help full-time, pre-tenure faculty obtain the information and experience they need to develop and submit successful external grant proposals. Oct. 1 is the application deadline.

The RDFP is ideal for faculty intending to submit proposals to federal funding programs, including the Department of Defense Young Investigator Program, National Institutes of Health exploratory/developmental research grant awards, National Science Foundation Faculty Early Career Development Program and U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Agriculture and Food Research Initiative.
