Nineteen cadets in the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Reserve Officer Training Corps will receive military commissions in ceremonies May 8 and 9 at the Nebraska Union, 14th and R streets. Rooms will be posted.

Seven cadets in Air Force ROTC will be commissioned second lieutenants in the U.S. Air Force at 6 p.m. May 8. They are Lucas Bauerle, Jonathan Crutchfield, Julia Eminger, Patrick Gour, Benjamin Wichelt, Taylor Williams and James Yong.

Eight cadets in Army ROTC will be commissioned second lieutenants in the U.S. Army at 1 p.m. May 9. They are Bryce Andrews, Timothy Durkin, Tyler Johnson, Benjamin Kocher, Jerad McLean, Jesse Sladky, John Stubbs, and Emma Webster.

The final four cadets will receive Navy ROTC commissions. Two — Alexander Klein and Tyler Sheets — will be named ensigns in the U.S. Navy. The other two — Alyssa Blomstedt and Seth Meharg — will be second lieutenants in the U.S. Marine Corps.
