Students (from left) Samantha Moore, William Roarty and Jace Armstrong let the wind do the work as they blow bubbles outside the Nebraska Union during Spring Breakout on March 29.
The festival featured a variety of activities, offering Huskers the chance to "break out" from being inside buildings and behind laptop screens to enjoy several hours of fun and relaxation.
“Staff and faculty recognize the strong effort Huskers have been giving in the classroom and in the community and adapting to the COVID-19 pandemic," said Veronica Riepe, director of Student Leadership, Involvement and Community Engagement. "Students need to take some real breaks to refocus and recharge their inner energy, so we’re organizing an entertainment break that they can enjoy together.”
