Vice chancellor for student affairs search begins

The University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s weeklong, statewide celebration of its 150th anniversary opened Feb. 11.

The University of Nebraska–Lincoln has launched a national search to select its next vice chancellor for student affairs.

The search committee will be co-chaired by Julia McQuillan, chair and Willa Cather Professor of sociology, and Josh Davis, associate vice chancellor for global affairs. They will be assisted by Pam Pezzoli, partner, and Charlie Bentley, associate, of Isaacson, Miller search firm.

Committee members include Dave Billesbach, research assistant professor, Biological Systems Engineering; Sammi Cowger, director, PEO Programs, Athletics; Tiffany Heng-Moss, dean, College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources; Jared Long, undergraduate student; Daniela Martinez, academic adviser, Explore Center, T.J. McDowell, assistant vice chancellor, Student Affairs; Nick Pace, chair and professor, Educational Administration; Hassan Ramzah, interim chief of police; Tony Rathgeber, assistant director, Housing Conference Services; CortneyJo Sandidge, director, Husker Hub; Erin Sayer, associate professor of practice, Biochemistry; Ashley Swift, graduate student; Pat Tetreault, director, LGBTQA and Women’s Center; Heath Tuttle, chief information officer; Barbara Woodhead, assistant director, Services for Students with Disabilities; and Mike Wortman, community representative.

Faculty and staff are encouraged to submit nominations directly to Isaacson, Miller. Nominations should include the nominee’s name, institutional affiliation and contact information.
