The “Musica Sacra” performance will include works by Joaquin Turina, David Maslanka, Yo Goto, David Holsinger and Alfred Reed. The band, which is part of the Glenn Korff School of Music, is conducted by Tony Falcone, senior lecturer, and assisted by Bradley Nelsen, a graduate teaching assistant conductor.

Tickets, available at the door, are $5 general admission and $3 for students and senior citizens. The performance will also be shown live online.

The Symphonic Band is the UNL band program’s top symphonic ensemble. Its select mission is to provide instrumentalists with an opportunity to demonstrate and develop the techniques and musical instincts appropriate to a symphonic setting.
