Campus support stories sought for Nebraska Today

In Our Grit Our Glory. Learn more at https://go.unl.edu/2r6p.

As the University of Nebraska–Lincoln responds to the public health threat of COVID-19, Huskers are supporting each other to overcome challenges faced by the campus community.

In challenging times, the spirit of Huskers — who stick together in all kinds of weather (even while observing social distancing rules) — shines through in big and little interactions that leave positive impressions on individuals, community or world.

While all of Husker Nation deals with the threat of a global pandemic, the grit and glory of Nebraska is — perhaps — more important than ever before. In that vein, University Communications is offering this online form to collect stories about how Huskers are coming together for the greater good — stretching and combining strengths to do big things, showing the power of every person.

These stories can range from a professor who goes that extra mile to offer a course via remote instruction; students offering tutoring assistance; staff leading a community collection of health care supplies for a local hospital; or alumni charging ahead to support a food bank in need.

Your stories will be told via Nebraska Today and the university’s social media platforms, including Facebook and Twitter.

Submit all stories via the online form. For more information, send email to tfedderson@unl.edu or call 402-472-8515.
