University closed for MLK Day

Weeklong observance planned for Jan. 25-29

The University of Nebraska–Lincoln will be closed Jan. 18 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. No classes will be held and offices will be closed.

The university will celebrate the legacy of Dr. King with MLK Week activities from Jan. 25-29, the first week of the spring semester. Scheduled events include a Jan. 28 virtual address by Bernice A. King, the daughter of Dr. King and Coretta Scott King. Learn more about the address and other MLK Week activities.
