The University Bowling League opens Sept. 12 at Hollywood Bowl, 920 N. 48th St.

All university employees, graduate students and spouses/partners are eligible to participate. Cost is $8 per week. Games are held 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., Mondays through April 11 (except for three consecutive weeks in December).

The recreational league, which is designed to help forge friendships between participants, offers two games each week.
