The United Way of Lincoln and Lancaster County, which university employees support through an annual giving campaign, is holding a community match challenge through March 9.

The nonprofit organization seeks to raise $22,000 during the weeklong campaign. Several local businesses have pledged to match all donations, dollar for dollar, up to $11,000.

The United Way partners with dozens of agencies within the city and county to assist with some of the most pressing problems facing local citizens.
