Nebraska's ninth annual Conference for Undergraduate Women in Physical Sciences is Nov. 9-11.

Registration is open for the University of Nebraska–Lincoln's ninth Conference for Undergraduate Women in Physical Sciences.

The conference, which convenes with the theme "Sci Wars: Join the Rebellion," is Nov. 9-11. It is designed to bring together student researchers — particularly women in physical sciences — allowing them to expand research experiences, interact with students from other institutions and attend scientific talks delivered by leaders in research fields.

Organized by Nebraska's Materials Research Science and Engineering Center and Nebraska/Kansas EPSCoR, the conference is primarily for undergraduates pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering and mathematics areas. The conference will be held on Nebraska's City Campus. Participants have the option to present a poster during the conference.
