Theatrix productions are presented in the Temple building.

Theatrix, the student-run theatre company in the Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film, presents “Somewhere: A Primer for the End of Days” by Marisela Treviño Orta through Dec. 4.

The plot follows Cassandra, an entomologist and her brother, Alexander, as they prepare to follow the migration of the last monarch butterflies in a world where almost all insects are gone and crops are failing.

Theatrix presents “Somewhere: A Primer for the End of Days” Dec. 1-4.

Performances are Dec. 3 at 7:30 p.m. and Dec. 4 at 2 p.m. in the Lab Theatre, which is located on the third floor of the Temple Building.

The production is directed by Mariana Hermosillo, a senior theatre major.

Tickets, available online only, are $7 general admission and $5 for students.
