College of Architecture students in a structural fundamentals course led by Sharon Kuska recently got a taste for bridge building.

For the lesson, teams of students were tasked with designing and constructing bridges made of pasta. The goal was to create a lightweight, 18-inch span that could carry a load — in this case, a 14-ounce can of evaporated milk. The winning team combined lasagna, fettuccine and spaghetti noodles to build a 6.6-ounce masterpiece. Click the 360 video above to learn more.
