Student perspectives featured in ASUN’s ‘Diversity and Inclusion’ forum

Title IX is the federal law that prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in education programs and activities that receive federal financial assistance.

The Association of Students of the University of Nebraska will host a “Diversity and Inclusion in Action: Student Perspectives” forum via Zoom on March 30. Registration is available online.

The forum is the second to be held by ASUN’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee. It will feature an open discussion based on selected real-life scenarios that happen on campus. The scenarios are intended to give participants insight into diversity and inclusion issues while also creating an opportunity for nonjudgemental dialogue. The forum is also an opportunity to ask questions and explore ways to improve diversity and inclusion at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.

The event is free to the entire campus community.
