The “Statewide High School Invitational” art exhibition opens March 9 in Richards Hall’s Eisentrager•Howard Gallery. An opening reception is 6 to 8 p.m. March 9.

The juried exhibition runs through March 13. Schools were invited to nominate up to three students to participate.

Winners of the visual arts component of the Nebraska Young Artist Awards will be announced at 7 p.m. as part of the reception.

The winning works will be installed in the Medici Gallery, also in Richards Hall, and be on view until April 7.

All winners of the Nebraska Young Artist Awards will be announced on March 12.

Gallery hours for the exhibition are weekdays, 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Admission to the gallery is free and open to the public.
