Spring Clay Club sale to benefit student artists

The Clay Club’s Spring Sale is April 26-27 in Richards Hall Rm. 118. Support the work of talented student artists by purchasing their most recent work.

The School of Art, Art History and Design will host its annual Clay Club Spring Sale from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. April 26 and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 27 in Richards Hall, Room 118.

The sale will include works of art created by graduate students, undergraduate students, alumni and faculty in the School of Art, Art History and Design representing a broad range of aesthetics, techniques and concepts.

Proceeds from the sale go to the artists, as well as help fund the Clay Club. The organization will use the funds to bring visiting artists to the community and send students to national clay conferences.

In addition to the sale, there will be a raffle of work donated by students, faculty and select local artists. Tickets for the raffle can be purchased either day. The drawing will be held at 5 p.m. on Saturday, but winners do not need to be present to win.

A special collector’s tour of all the work featured in the sale will begin at 8:30 a.m. April 26 in Richards Hall, Room 118.

Cash, checks and credit cards will be accepted at the sale.
