Souto’s solo exhibition opens April 20

Francisco Souto's "Two Limes and Four Flies" is featured in his solo exhibition at Lincoln's Kiechel Fine Arts gallery.

A solo exhibition of new works by Francisco Souto opens April 20 at Kiechel Fine Art, 1208 O St.

The exhibition, “Dicotomias,” will be featured in an opening reception, 6 to 9 p.m. April 20. The reception is free and open to the public. The artworks will be on display through May 26.

Francisco Souto

Souto is director of University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s School of Art, Art History and Design. He is from Venezuela and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Herron School of Art in 2000 and a Master of Fine Arts from Ohio State University in 2002.

His work has featured in exhibitions in the United States, Europe, Venezuela, Russia, Egypt and Japan.
