Nebraska’s “Room in New York,” an Edward Hopper painting included in Sheldon Museum of Art’s collection, is currently featured in the “Edward Hopper’s New York,” an exhibition at the Whitney Museum of American Art.

The exhibition features an inclusive look at Hopper’s life and work, from early impressions of New York City in sketches, prints and illustrations, to his most well-known paintings that capture the urban experience. By using New York as a primary lens, the exhibition offers a fresh look at the iconic artist and how NYC served as a lead actor in the artworks.

The exhibition, which is open through March 5, was recently featured in Forbes. For more information on “Edward Hopper’s New York,” visit the Whitney Museum’s website.
