The virtual karaoke night on July 25 his led by D-Wayne. The online event is free and open to the campus community.

Huskers around the world are invited to join D-Wayne at 8 p.m. July 25 via Zoom for a night of music and virtual connections. Videos of Huskers singing can be submitted for the event.

Organized by the International Student and Scholar Office, Student Involvement and the IANR global staff, the Saturday night party aims to bring Huskers together virtually, while being socially distanced at their homes.

More than 50 viewers around the world joined virtually on April 25 to enjoy the singing and music talents of the university’s international students during the first karaoke night. The event was recorded and is available for viewing online.

Recognizing the need for virtual connections and fun activities during this challenging time, the team reconvened to organize an additional virtual karaoke, where various cultures can be celebrated and shared through music.

Karaoke Night will be held through Zoom. All Huskers are welcomed to tune in to the party with D-Wayne and have fun from the comfort of your home. Anyone who wishes to sing karaoke, live or pre-recorded video options, can sign up through this form.
