A retirement reception for Larry Schmid, who has served the university in custodial services for 36 years, will be 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Aug. 9 in the Willa S. Cather Dining Center, Red Cloud Room.

Schmid worked in Facilities Management Custodial Services from 1983 to 2014. In 2014, he moved to Central Housing Facilities.

The reception is free and open to the campus community.
