In conjunction with the Covid-19 social distancing one person, one vehicle rule, when multiple faculty, staff or students are traveling to the same destination, University Fleet Management is offering a 50% discount for additional daily rental vehicles traveling at the same time.

In order to obtain the discounted rate on the additional vehicle(s), when submitting daily rental requests online enter “Discount” at the start of the Reservation Reference field followed by the project or program name.

The department name, cost object, destination, pickup and return date/time must be identical. The vehicles must be physically picked up and returned within 60 minutes of each other, and each vehicle’s travel must be within 10 miles of the other vehicle’s travel. Dispatch will apply the discount when the reservations are closed.
