Registration open for Postdoc Science Slam

Winners will be chosen prior to the event by a panel of viewers organized by the Office of Graduate Studies and acknowledged during the virtual event.

Winners of the Postdoc Science Slam will be chosen prior to the event by a panel of viewers organized by the Office of Graduate Studies.

Nebraska Research Days will host its annual Postdoc Science Slam at noon Nov. 4 via Zoom.

The virtual event offer will offer postdoctoral researchers the opportunity to present their research or creative activity in an engaging, concise and understandable format to those both inside and outside their disciplines.

Interested postdoctoral researchers can register here.

Upon registering, postdocs will be emailed detailed instructions and a link for uploading their 5-minute video to MediaHub. Please note that videos are required to have captions.

Chosen presenters will receive a $100 participation award, with winners receiving a $650 prize to advance their research, scholarship or creative activity. Winners will be selected prior to the event by a panel of viewers organized by the Office of Graduate Studies. Those winners will be announced during the virtual event.
