Registration for SciComm 2022 closes Aug. 10

SciComm is a conference dedicated to understanding and promoting effective communication of science to diverse audiences – including students of all levels as well as the general public – across all venues.

Registration for SciComm 2022: “Sharing Science in a Polarized World” closes Aug. 10. SciComm is a biennial conference hosted by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and is dedicated to understanding and promoting effective communication of science to diverse audiences.

The SciComm conference — known informally as No Coast SciComm — brings together those who use science communication in diverse careers, including scientists, students, discipline-based education researchers, K-12 teachers, science learning researchers and evaluators, policy makers, formal and informal science learning providers, science disseminators across a variety of media, and others. This virtual conference will include keynote and featured speakers, workshops, panels, a film festival, a Science Slam, and 15-minute talks from conference attendees.

The conference is Aug. 17-19, and will be a mostly virtual event with some in-person activities for regional participants. Registration is $25 for virtual attendees and $50 those attending in-person events.
