Big Red Resilience and Well-being is offering open sessions of REACH Suicide Prevention training for University of Nebraska–Lincoln students, faculty and staff. Sessions are 4 p.m. March 23 and 3 p.m. March 24, both at the University Health Center.

Each session is an interactive, 90-minute, in-person training opportunity.

The March 23 session is for faculty and staff. Registration is available here.

The March 24 session is for students. Registration is available here.

REACH helps the university community by teaching faculty, staff and students how to:

  • Recognize Warning Signs
  • Engage with Empathy
  • Ask directly about suicide
  • Communicate hope
  • Help suicidal individuals access care

Individual groups of students, faculty or staff can request REACH training here.
