The Raikes School will host its annual Design Studio Showcase at 2 p.m. April 30. The public is invited to attend this virtual event, interact with the student teams and learn about the projects completed.

This virtual event will celebrate student innovation and creation. Students in Design Studio partner with sponsoring organizations to design and develop real-world, software-based solutions. Virtual and online sessions will provide participants the opportunity to see presentations on the products developed as well as interact with students.

Students will demonstrate their individual project virtually from 2 to 3:25 p.m. Each team will be hosting online breakout sessions and discussions. See a preview of this year’s projects.

A live awards program will be held from 3:30 to 4:15 p.m. honoring industry partners who have reached milestone years as Design Studio project sponsors. In addition, the Gold and Platinum student project award winners will be announced. Winning projects will be presented.
