The Jeffrey S. Raikes School of Computer Science and Management will host a virtual afternoon of special events May 1.

The Design Studio Showcase is an annual celebration of innovation and creation. Students in the Design Studio partner with sponsoring organizations to design and develop real-world, software-based solutions. Given the current global health concerns, this year’s event will be a mix of virtual and online sessions rather than in-person.

Project demonstrations will be on display virtually from 2 to 3:25 p.m. Each team will be highlighted in online breakout session presentations. See a preview of this year’s projects here.

A live awards program from 3:30 to 4:15 p.m. will honor Design Studio industry partners who have served as project sponsors for five, 10 and 15 years. In addition, the Gold and Platinum Project award winners will be announced and present their work to the audience virtually.
