A retirement reception for Marlene Pyatt, staff in Procure to Pay, is 1 to 3 p.m. June 14 at the Facilities Management and Planning building, 1901 Y St.
The celebration is open to the university community.
Pyatt has served the University of Nebraska–Lincoln campus, the Business and Finance community, and the Procure to Pay organization for more than 23 years. She has led the university’s purchasing card program, distributing hundreds of purchasing cards annually, reconciling thousands of group travel transactions and monitoring purchases.
During her tenure, she has provided countless hours of training, advance and assistance to cardholders, reconcilers and approving officials.
In retirement, Pyatt plans to read, relax and spend time with her family.
