Proposed update to student code of conduct available for review

The Student Code of Conduct is undergoing changes.

The University of Nebraska–Lincoln is revising the student code of conduct.

The document serves as the university’s guide for enforcing standards of academic honesty and responsible behavior for students.

John Lenich, professor of law, has worked with students, faculty and staff from across campus units in the last eight months to revise and update the student code of conduct. In addition to closing gaps in the current code, Lenich is working with representatives from each of the four University of Nebraska campuses to unify the document.

Students, faculty and staff can review the draft of the updated code online. Provide feedback by sending email by April 23 to studentconduct@unl.edu.
