Project to close X Street starting June 28
The X Street steam service project will impact traffic between 16th and 17th streets north of Nebraska Hall. This overview maps shows the street shutdown (orange); two-way traffic area (yellow) and general work space (pink).
The installation of a new steam service on the north side of Nebraska Hall will temporarily close all traffic access to X Street (from 16th to 17th streets) starting June 28.
The roadway will be closed through July 26. Two-way access to parking/loading docks on the east and south sides of Nebraska Hall will be available via a marked stretch of X Street (connecting via 17th Street from Antelope Valley Parkway).
A project staging area will also block some parking in the Area A/visitor metered lot at the corner of 16th and X streets (immediately south of the Boat House).
