Opera program to perform Mozart’s Don Giovanni

Mozart's Don Giovanni

The UNL opera program will perform Mozart’s “Don Giovanni,” one of the world’s most-performed operas, on Nov. 13 and 15 in Kimball Recital Hall. The opera, which will be directed by UNL’s William Shomos, is based on the legends of Don Juan.

Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 13 and 3 p.m. Nov. 15.

Jesse Wohlman, a second-year UNL master’s student in vocal performance, will play Don Giovanni. The performance will also feature the UNL Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra, which is directed by Tyler Goodrich White.

Tickets, $20 for adults and $10 for students and senior citizens, are available online, at the Lied Center Box Office or by calling 402-472-4747.
