The University of Nebraska Public Policy Center will host an open house honoring founding director Alan Tomkins and welcoming new director Mario Scalora from 4 to 6 p.m. Sept. 22 at the Lincoln Community Foundation Garden. Remarks are planned for 5:15 p.m.

The garden is west of the Lincoln Community Foundation Building at 215 Centennial Mall South.
