Online parking permit sales begin April 15

Parking

Parking permit costs at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln will be unchanged for students, faculty and staff in 2021-22.

Permits will be available for sale online starting April 15. New annual permits must be displayed starting July 1, while nine-month permits are effective Aug. 16.

“We are pleased to offer permits at the same price,” Dan Carpenter, director of Parking and Transit Services, said. “We have been successful in efforts to control department expenses and maximize other revenue options for seven consecutive years.”

A permit is required for any vehicle parked in designated areas on campus.

All permits will be mailed to the address provided through the online purchase process. Faculty, staff and students who purchase a permit will receive an email that includes a link to print a temporary permit (valid for 30 days, after July 1 for annual permits and Aug. 16 for nine-month permits).
