Nominations open for first-ever Student Luminary Awards

.

Nominations are now open for Nebraska’s first-ever Student Luminary Awards, designed to recognize 10 students for their exceptional leadership and commitment.

The new honor will replace the university’s Outstanding Student Leadership Awards. Eight undergraduate and two graduate student luminaries will be named, with each recipient awarded $1,000.

Nominees should demonstrate a significant and active commitment to inclusion, advocate for positive change, initiate activities that help every Husker feel valued, strive for personal well-being, and model academic excellence both inside and outside the classroom.

The nomination deadline has been extended to Jan. 25. For more information, visit the student affairs website.
