New annual parking permits are required July 1

Bill Manning, operations manager for Parking and Transit Services, demonstrates how the new parking enforcement system will work. The update includes scanners that read license plates, identifying which vehicles in campus lots are allowed to park versus those that are parked illegally. The new system goes into place July 1.

New annual campus parking permits take effect July 1.

With the License Plate Recognition parking permit system, the vehicle license serves as the permit information. Faculty and staff can register vehicles and buy the permit online.

To use the online purchase process, select the area and type of permit needed, choose a payment option and provide vehicle information. Permit options are detailed here. Make sure to verify and update vehicle and license plate information during the purchase process. Accurate license information serves as the actual parking permit.
