"Mother Courage" will be performed by the Nebraska Repertory Theatre Nov. 9-16.

The Nebraska Repertory Theatre will continue its 50th season with “Mother Courage,” a performance following the struggles of a mother and three children during the Civil War.

An adaptation of a classic play, “Mother Courage” features the family as it profits from the spoils of war and makes the ultimate sacrifice in the face of survival. The production is directed by Andy Park, Nebraska Repertory’s Artistic Director. Guest artist Tobi Mattingly is director of music.

“Mother Courage” premieres Nov. 9 at the Temple Building, 12th and R streets, with additional performances taking place Nov. 12-16. Tickets are $30 for the general public and $15 for students and OLLI (Osher Lifelong Learning Institute) members.

To purchase tickets, visit the Lied Center website or call 402-472-4747 or 800-432-3231. For more information about the performance, including showtimes, click here.
