Nebraska club hosts first curling tourney

The University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s curling club will host a bonspiel — or tournament — from Jan. 31 through Feb. 2 at the John Breslow Ice Hockey Center.
Entry to the tournament is free, with donations accepted to the curling club. Teams expected to participate with the Huskers include the University of Oklahoma, Denver University, North Dakota State University, University of Minnesota, University of Wisconsin–Steven’s Point, Wayne State University and Creighton University.
The schedule for the weekend tournament is:
- Jan. 31: 8 to 10:30 p.m.
- Feb. 1: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Feb. 2: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
