Nebraska alumni artists exhibition opens May 20

Artworks from 25 alumni are featured in a summer exhibition showing May 20 to Aug. 2 at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s Eisentrager•Howard Gallery in Richards Hall.

An opening reception for “Nebraska Alumni Artists 1989-1992” is 5 to 7 p.m. June 2. A closing reception is 5 to 7 p.m. Aug. 2. Both are in the gallery.

Nebraska’s School of Art, Art History and Design solicited alumni who graduated from Nebraska between 1989-1992 to send artwork for the exhibition. The exhibition will be repeated in future years with different graduation dates included. Alumni participating this year include:

Master of Fine Arts — Stephen Arnison, Kate Brooke, Judith Cherry, Shelley T. Fuller, Dave Harvey, Angie Meche Kilcullen, Susan Moss, Terry Mulkey, Todd Peterson, Carol Rustad and Chris Stewart.

Bachelor of Fine Arts — Sandy Airan, Kim Boone (education), Coralette Damme, Lisa M. Davis-Kovarik, Emma Ells Dreesen, Sten Eisentrager (education), Jill Engel-Miller, Patty Gallimore, Beth Gaylord, Jeff Iwanski, Martha Johnson, Regen Maly and Lisa Parizek.

Bachelor of Sciences — Jeanne E. Johnson (art).

Admission to the Eisentrager•Howard Gallery is free and open to the public. Visitors can access the exhibition by stopping in Richards Hall, Room 120, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.
