Starting at 7 a.m. March 20, faculty and staff must use an NCard to gain access to the university's academic buildings. The shift is in response to reduced campus activity related to COVID-19.

The University of Nebraska–Lincoln is shifting to a modified door access schedule for all academic buildings.

Starting at 5 p.m. March 20, exterior entry doors to academic buildings will be locked, requiring an NCard to gain access. Students, faculty and staff who already have NCard access will be able to enter their designated buildings.

Faculty and staff who do not have NCard access can contact an appropriate key manager or dean/director to gain access approval.

This change is being made as campus activity is reduced due to the threat of COVID-19. For more information about building access, send email to buildingaccess@unl.edu.
