A retirement reception for Mark Miller, associate vice president of facilities management and associate vice chancellor of facilities planning and construction, will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. June 11 at The Bay, 2005 Y St.

Miller came to the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in 2012 as the Director of Facilities Planning and Construction. Under his leadership, the department was transformed, with increased attention to service and project delivery.

He was named the university’s first associate vice president of Facilities Management in 2017. In that position, he has led initiatives to streamline campus facilities groups.

The reception will be held in the front room of the building and is free and open to the university community.
